Key points:

  1. Kinedu aims to simplify child development with easy, research-backed activities for parents.
  2. Activities are designed to target specific milestones and draw from leading research on child development.
  3. Kinedu’s in-house experts create activities using everyday materials and encourage repetition for skill reinforcement.
  4. The goal is to empower parents with confidence to support their child’s development from home using science-based activities.

How we turn leading research studies into quick activities for you and your little one.

Kinedu’s goal is to help every child get the best start in life by giving parents easy ways to enhance the everyday interactions they have with their little ones.

We don’t give parents elaborate activity ideas that take hours to set up and lead. That’s not the point! The point is to help parents boost their children’s development with activities that are easy to do and target the right skills at the right time.

When creating a Kinedu activity, we ask ourselves these three questions: What are the milestones we’re trying to target? What does leading research say about these milestones? How can we turn that research into quick activities that foster positive parent-child interactions?

A Kinedu activity may appear simple at first, but all of Kinedu’s activities encourage behaviors scientifically-proven to help your child thrive. We incorporate best practices recommended by experts, encourage lots of repetition to reinforce skills, and fine-tune to make sure every activity does what we want it to do. Ultimately, we want to empower parents with the best research and activities so that they can support their child’s development from home with confidence.

How a Kinedu activity is made:

  1. Our in-house team of psychologists and early childhood development experts identify a list of milestones and developmental skills to target.
  2. They then consult leading research findings from institutions like Stanford University, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the World Health Organization to better understand the neural processes behind every milestone.
  3. These findings are then distilled into playtime activities that are easy to follow for parents and use everyday household materials.
  4. We film the activity and upload the final product to the app.
  5. You and your child play using our activity video as a guide. Here is an example!
  6. Based on the feedback we receive from users and new research findings, we update and modify existing activities on a regular basis.
